Dear Youth,
We pray that you and your families are well and in good health and keeping safe. We would like to update you on the status of the St. Arsanius Youth Group moving forward. As you have all read and are following, His Grace Bishop Mina and the diocese priests of the Diocese of Mississauga, Vancouver and Western Canada have temporarily suspended all activities in the church until further notice in order to fight in preventing the spread of COVID-19.All the most recent releases can be followed on the diocese website. His Grace has also requested that we all pray ‘Lord Have Mercy’ 400 times at 9PM EST everyday for the Lord to protect the world from this pandemic and to pass these days in peace. Let pray, as we chant in the Seventh Part of the Sunday Theotokia, that the Lord through the intercessions of the Virgin Mary, first and last, open unto us the gates of the church.
As such, we will be streaming our meetings live on YouTube until the further notice. The videos will be posted on the site every week Friday and will begin at its usual time.
May the Lord confirm us in the faith and not allow these days to shake or doubt our faith. We ask this through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, first and last, St, Mark the apostle, St. Athanasius the Apostolic, St. Arsanius and the blessings of this Great Holy Fast be with you all.
